AT first glance you could say it’s almost like sending coals to Newcastle.
But there’s certainly no comparison with Auf Wiedersen Pet for a high-flying Eastleigh-based recruitment consultancy which provides specialist individuals who speak both English and French to the construction, civil engineering and property markets.
Allant Europe was founded at the home of one of the partners in September 2005 but moved to Wessex House, the Eastleigh Borough Council-run business centre, in May 2006 to start trading as a limited company.

2006 – the European Year of Workers' mobility
Brussels 30/06/2005. The European Commission has named 2006 the European Year for mobility of
workers. The year aims to raise awareness and increase understanding of the benefits of both working
abroad and in a new occupation. It is the first European year which combines the issues of mobility
and workers.
Working in new countries and/or sectors provides workers with new skills and experience, benefiting
both them and their employers. Reskilling is also crucial in a globalised and restructuring economic
environment. Yet current figures show that very few Europeans work abroad. The percentage of Europeans
residing in an EU country other than their country of origin has consistently remained around 1.5% for
the last 30 years. And in 9 EU countries, 40% of workers have remained in the same job for over
10 years. Click for more information
Olympics is great news for recruiters...huge demand expected in construction
and hospitality sectors
Recruitment experts are looking forward to the prospects for the industry after London sensationally
scooped the 2012 Olympic Games.
The construction, hospitality and temporary placement markets should receive a huge shot in the arm from
the global event.
The immense scale of the proposed Olympic complex, near Stratford in East London, has come as a timely
boost for construction in the capital, says Dave Parfitt, account director for People, a recruitment and
executive search business for the construction and property sector. Click for more information
